Managerial Career from 1984 to 2005

2002/2005 - Zippo Fashion Italia Srl (Vicenza) - MD - Top Management Level
A leading company in the Italian leather goods industry since 1978. Its homonymy with the renown American Zippo company, producer of the famous lighters, caused huge conflicts on worldwide markets. The successful contacts and negotiations with Zippo USA resulted in the acquisition of Zippo Fashion by the American company.
I ran the company with complete PoA (50 employees in Italy and 200 employees in Romania) and coordinated with the American owners. Sales network consisting in agents and distributors, 800 shops in Italy and 400 abroad. I was also a member of the Board of Directors of AIMPES (National Association of Leather Manufacturers) and involved in the Association’s organization and enhancement, promoting the General Branding of “Pelletteria Made in Italy”.
1999/2002 - Air Machine Srl - (Cesena) - General/Marketing Manager - Top Management Level
Metalworking and mechanical engineering, fitness equipment company, 50 employees. Key markets: post-trauma rehab (physiotherapists / hospitals) and gyms (sports / competiton). General Manager at the beginning, I became Managing Director in 2001 with complete PoA.

Multinational US company, producer of GORETEX® and WINDSTOPPER®, 6,500 employees. In charge of the workwear division for Italy and South Europe, counting 8 people and with an approx. EUR 16 mln turnover.
